About
I am a student of degree of M. Sc. in mechanical engineering at Yeditepe University in Turkey. I fully expect to complete M. Sc. degree requirements by December 2009.
I have been working as a research assistant in a TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) funded project titled as “Biomimetic Bipedal Walking Robot” at Yeditepe University Mechanical Engineering Department since February 2007. My M. Sc. dissertation that titled “Modeling and Control of a Bipedal Walking Robot” has conducted under the direction of Dr. Koray K. Safak. My M. Sc. thesis looks for modeling, simulation, mechanical design, prototyping and control of bipedal walking robot that developed by Dr. Koray K. Safak and me. My other responsibilities in this project are mechanical design and prototyping of robot, implementation and data acquisition of load sensors, inertial measurement units. I lead 5 undergraduate students for preparing their graduation thesis that related with our project.
During my M.Sc. training I took “Biomechanics”, “Engineering Analysis”, “Theory of Elasticity”, “Advanced Finite Element Analysis”, “Advanced Robotic Systems”, “Advanced Dynamics”, “Control of Robotic Systems” and “Digital Control” courses.
